V - XXXVII, [1 br.], 476, [2] p.: 6 gravuras. Os tomos II e III
apresentam algumas manchas de água (de maré); o tomo IV,
manchas ligeiras nas primeiras cinco folhas. Encadernações da
época, inteiras de carneira, um pouco cansadas, sobretudo nos
tomos II e III.

A complete set of one of the most characteristc productions of
the publishing project by Fr. José Mariano da Conceição Veloso
(1742-1811) in the ephemeral Workshop of Arco do Cego. The
collation of the five volumes matches exactly the description on
the catalogue of the exhibition held at the National Library on
the occasion of the bicentenary of the Literary House (No 21): I
- 336, [3, 1 brochure] p.; II, [2], IV, 188 p.: 15, 6 engravings; III -
LIV, 316, [1, 1 brochure] p.; IV - XXXV, [1 brochure], 249, [1] p.; V
- XXXVII, [1 brochure], 476, [2] p.: 6 engravings. Volumes II and
III show some watertide stains; volume IV, sligt stains on the
first five leaves. Entire calf bindings of the time slightly
fatigued particularly concerning volumes II and III.
