The first, from Camões, without indication of recipient (probably an editor), dated S. Miguel de Seide, March 4, [18]80: “A correcção dos Sonetos de Camoens editada pelo visconde de Juromenha, não deve servir de norma à edição que o Gabinete Portuguez de Leitura em Pernambuco, tenciona publicar”. The second, without indication of recipient (Your Excellency), dated S. Miguel de Seide, 6/3/80, referring to Júlio Gomes, stating that he was convalescing from a serious illness. The third, addressed to “Your Excellency Dr. Calixto”, dated S. Miguel de Seide, March 23, 1883. The first two letters signed Camillo Cast. Br., the third, Camillo Castello Branco. Documents contained in a shagreen portfolio, with engraving on the front cover, three plastic sleeves and watered silk endpapers.
