MANUSCRIPTS.- D. FILIPE III, King of Portugal.- Royal letter of confirmation.- 17th century (1625).- 2 f.; 420 x 310 mm. Manuscript on parchment bifolio (second blank folio), in calligraphed humanistic script. Royal standard letter, by which King D. Filipe III, confirms the annuity of 300$000 rs. each year, to D. Manuel de Castelbranco, 2nd Count of Vila Nova (of Portimão). Autographed signature: El Rey. Very clean document, given in the City of Lisbon, on July 30, 1625. The second folio presents only two entries. It preserves remains of the pending seal suspension (missing). Provenance: private collection.
