Gregório de Castelo Branco (natural son of the 2nd Count of Vila Nova de Portimão) to the status of fidalgo-escudeiro (nobleman-squire). Document given in Lisbon, on July 10, 1662. Autograph signatures: Rey; marquis chief-majordomo. Bifolio on stamped paper from 1661 (second blank folio), handled and with some stains, but fully legible. Provenance: private collection.
