Pedro II confirms a letter from King D. Afonso VI (translated) so that the [2nd] marquis of Fontes, João Rodrigues de Sá e Meneses (1674-1688) «tenha e haja as cazas que estão na Rua Nova de Lixª». Document dated in the City of Lisbon, on the 26th day of July in the year 1684, endorsed by the chief steward on all pages, missing the lead seal. Autographed signature: El-Rey. Large document, carefully calligraphed, with a central fold and missing the lead seal, but entirely legible and well preserved. On the verso, in white, of the last folio, some checks and records.
