First Portuguese edition published in the 17th century, almost entirely in italic characters (there is a variant, with the same date, with the stanzas numbered in the press). The title page includes a xilography representing the coat of arms of the dedicatee, D. Rodrigo da Cunha, deputy of the Holy Office and future Archbishop of Braga and Lisbon. The copy has some shortcomings, namely: the first two pages restored and reconstituted on the outer margin, with damage to the engraving of the title page and some lines on the next three pages (following the same two pages in facsimile); last page with restoration on the outer margin, without affecting the text; numerous notes from the time (and underlining), sometimes damaged by the pencil; browning and occasional stains; all stations numbered by hand. Recent binding, fully red shagreen, with simple ornamental borders and smooth spine, decorated in gold; roll in the squares, silk endpapers and top edge gilt. Inocêncio, XIV, p. 45, nº 14.
