[10 p.]; 23 cm Vitorino Nemésio (1901-1978), poet, novelist, essayist, professor, intellectual and great promoter of Portuguese literature, born in Praia da Vitória (Terceira Island, Azores). Original autograph short story (draft), apparently unpublished, on five sheets of low-quality paper, written on both sides of the sheet, in very small handwriting (approximately 38 lines per page). Several titles are crossed out, with only "Eh cão!" remaining. With a strong regionalist bias, some passages and characters may have been used by Nemésio in other published texts.
