THEOD. & IO. ISRAELE de BRY fratibus.- Francofurti: apud Matthaevm Becker, 1601.- [8], 111, [1 br.] p.: XX f. il.; 30 cm.- E. This volume, processed and reconstructed from at least three other volumes, from different editions, of the celebrated work by Linschoten (1563-1611), constitutes the fourth and fifth parts (of 12 + 1 appendix) of the Latin edition usually called “Petits voyages”, published between 1599 and 1628 by Theodore De Bry (1528-1598) and his sons Johann Theodor et Johann Israel. The first part of the volume, which includes only text ([8], 111, [1 br.] p.) is complete. The second part, with its own title page, includes 20 leaves engraved with half-page images and captions (blank versos): plates I, II and III are correct and correspond to the “Pars quarta”; plates XVIII and XIX do not belong to this volume (unidentified part); the remaining 15 plates belong to the “Pars quinta”. Copy with some browning and small restoration. Modern binding, entirely of parchment.
