Maria I grants to Dom Fernando José Lobo, baron of Alvito and count of Oriola, the title of marquis of Alvito; in addition to other grants during her lifetime, it also establishes that, with the aforementioned title, there shall be an investment of 322,158 réis, "... que é o mesmo que tem os mais marqueses deste reino"; document dated June 16, 1777; autographed signature: The Queen. 2 - Royal Charter by which Queen D. Maria I grants to the Marquis of Alvito, Dom Joseph Antonio Lobo da Silveira Quaresma, the titles of count of Oriola and baron of Alvito, in perpetuity and inheritance, in accordance with the Mental Law, with dispensation therefrom; document given at the Palace of Queluz, on October 13, 1788; autographed signature: The Queen; The lead seal remains intact. Both documents have several signatures and registrations on the verso.
