João II granting Gonçalo Vaz de Castelo Branco, lord of Vila Nova de Portimão, of the King's Council and regent of the Civil Court of Lisbon, a license to exchange any sentences of exile to places in the kingdom for less than two years and sentences “de outras cousas mais leves” for money, to be applied to repair works at the Civil Court. Document dated Évora, 26 July 1482. Autograph signature: Rey. autograph subscription by secretary Álvaro Lopes. On the back, several checks and registrations. Very clean, planned document.
