Set composed of 50 entirely autographed documents, mostly letters, but also some notes, addressed to the 1st Duke of Terceira, António José de Sousa Manuel de Menezes Severim de Noronha (1792-1860). Documents are mostly undated, although some show dates from 1844 to 1854; the last three dated 1863 and 1870 (2). Many of them refer to political matters, sometimes citing conversations with the queen. Some retain their respective envelopes and part of the wax seals. Autograph signatures: Fernando. The set is stitched together on thread, on stubs, probably detached from a miscellany of documents.
