Indo-Portuguese Art

  • A small bureau, sissoo with ivory inlays, Mughal Empire, India, 17th C. (Lot 221);
  • A twelve-drawer cabinet simulating fourteen, teak with partial ebony veneer, ebony and ivory inlays, 17th C. (2nd half) (Lot 222).

Namban Art

  • A portable oratory for suspension, fully black lacquered wood with mother-of-pearl inlay and gold decoration "Birds and flowers" and "Landscapes", cornice with medallion "Insignia of the Society of Jesus", original copper clasp, Nippo-Portuguese - Momoyama period (1573-1615) (Lot 214);
  • A nine drawer cabinet, full black lacquer coating with gold decoration and mother-of-pearl inlays, "Flowers, plants and various plant motifs with birds", Nippo-Portuguese - Momoyama period (1573-1615) (Lot 217);
  • A bureau with seventeen drawers, full black lacquer coating with gilt decoration and mother-of-pearl inlay "Birds, rabbits and flowers", Nippo-Portuguese - begining of the Edo períod  (1615-1868), 17th (1st/2nd quarter) (Lot 216).

CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN

  • A tea caddy, polychrome and gilt decoration with the coat of arms of Sampaio e Melo, Kangxi period (1662-1722) (Lot 61);
  • A scalloped soup plate, blue polychrome and gilt decoration attributed to the Real Colégio dos Nobres de Lisboa, "Monogram and royal crown" and inscription SETE BARRO HE OUTRO OUNICORNIO 1776  (Lot 73).

  • A pair of drop earrings, gold and silver, set with 10 antique drop cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.42 ct. and 40 in antique brilliant cut diamonds with an approximate weight of 4.67 ct., 19th/20th C. (Lot 121);
  • A pair of three-armed candelabra with seven-light each, French, Edmond Tétard maker's mark (1860-1901) (Lot 103);
  • A ring, gold, set with an antique brilliant cut diamond weighing approximately 3.20 ct., colour grade K~L and purity SI (Lot 119);
  • Flatware for 24 people, silver, maker's and trade mark of Leitão & Irmão, with case (Lot 114).
