Serafino da Fermo (ca. 1490-1540), theologian and preacher, born in Fermo (Marcas), canon regular of Lateran, disseminator of the doctrines of the Dominican Battista Carioni da Crema (†1534) , who would be condemned by the Inquisition in 1552. The first text (208 p.) is titled “Libro de la conversion del sinner al amor de Dios...”; the second (280 p.), “Espejo del alma”. Copy slightly cropped, but clean. Interesting contemporary binding, worn and with imperfections (but recoverable), with b.ind tooling on the covers and lack of fixed endpapers and ties. Anselmo, 284.
