A special auction, with a single session, covering a wide range of pieces of particular quality, rarity and antiquity, integrating two distinct sections:

 

  • AFRICAN ART – ENGINEER ELÍSIO ROMARIZ DOS SANTOS SILVA COLLECTION – Lots 1 to 47

Though restricted, a remarkable Collection, created over many years with unsurpassed zeal and a clear underlying ethical and cultural concern, evident in its introductory texts.

It consists of 47 selected lots, the vast majority from Angola (37 lots) and purchased there, but including also artefacts from Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, South Africa, Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
