Second edition of this regiment of the Congregation of the Order of the Holy Cross, reformed from the original edition published in 1563, in Santa Cruz. The text is divided into two parts: the first deals with general ceremonies (f. 3v. to f. 115v.); the second translation of “de alguns tempos & dias especiaes” (f. 115r. to f. 145v.). The Index follows, in two sheets and a last sheet with just the colophon in front. The seven final pages contain the following texts: De como se faz dia dos martyres; De como se faz quando a cidade vemao mosteiro; De como se faz quando a universidade vemao mosteiro; De como se faz o anniversario dos reis. Title page slightly used, with old ownership inscription scratched on the upper margin and small imperfections; last page with several old white inscriptions on the verso and stain with slight abrasion. 20th century (1st half?) full sheepskin binding with patina and gilt decoration on the spine and squares.
