Once briefly presented our next live auction, we are pleased to inform you that CABRAL MONCADA LEILÕES recently joined.

The Art Loss Register is the leading due diligence provider for the global art and antiques market. They hold the world’s largest private database of lost and stolen art, antiques and collectibles, holding over 700,000 items. Their routine catalogue searching services are used by 140 auction houses who are compliant with internationally recognised best practice standards, including Sotheby’s, Christie’s, Bonhams and Phillips, as well as leading regional auctioneers.

From now on, the Art Loss Register (ALR) will provide Cabral Moncada Leilões a routine catalogue searching service, clearing all items with an upper estimate equal or above € 5.000 and offering the possibility to proceed with specific enquiries concerning certain lots, allowing us to determine, prior to each auction, if a certain item is registered at the ALR as stolen, missing or looted, or as a possible fake.

The inexistence of doubts or problems concerning the provenance of the lots included in each sale, scrutinized and certified by ALR, adds value to those lots and reassure the confidence of both national and international buyers, demonstrating the concrete steps taken by us to ensure the highest standards of due diligence, in the interests of the buyers and the market.

Looking forward to welcome you soon, in person or virtually, at the preview of our next auction but also at the public presentation of the Cabral Moncada Leilões Academy - see next pages - with all best wishes
