Volume consisting of four parts, corresponding respectively to “Os Lusíadas” and to the three parts of “Rimas”. These works often go together and present difficulties in collation or some faults, but the set is complete, matching exactly the descriptions in the catalogue of José do Canto's collection (Nos 36, 33, 35 and 34). Bottom margin of the first title page, reinforced, hiding ownership. A wormehole affecting the first 50 sheets. Title page and next page of the second part of the “Rimas” from another copy (shorter). In the end, 12 leaves with some stains on the outer margin. Although cropped and with the imperfections registered, the specimen is very well preserved and is lined with full sheepskin binding from the 19th century, with a mottled patine, preserving the original endpapers. Ex-libris of Delfim Guimarães. Arouca, 63, 71, 82 and 83. D. Manuel II Library, 713.
