John Buchan.- The Crimea and Transcaucasia, being the narrative of a journey in the Kouban, in Gouria, Georgia, Armenia, Ossety, Imeritia, Swannety, and Mingrelia, and in the Tauric Range.- London: Henry S. According to the author himself (1830-1907), the work results from two visits to Crimea and Transcaucasia, undertaken during a three-year stay in southern Russia. The collation of each of the volumes is as follows: I - XX, 297 p .: 1 map unfolded. (of Crimea), il .; II - XII, 293 p .: 1 unfolded map, (of Transcaucasia) il. The edition is further illustrated with numerous figures and xylographic prints (1 lithography), largely engraved from the author's original drawings. The two volumes, very clean and partially unopened, retain the original buckram binding, black and gold printed, slightly worn and with small imperfections in the turn ins.
