French translation of the first edition, of larger format, of Murphy's famous work (1760-1814), specially appreciated for the 23 engravings, opened in copper plate (two foldable), representing popular customs, antiques, urban aspects, etc. Engraving V is wrongly numbered as VI, and XXII as XXIII.
