José I of Portugal, he was incarcerated, first in the Tower of Belem, then in the fort of Junqueira, where he was only released by Queen D. Maria I of Portugal, in 1777. Set consisting of the following autograph documents: Two letters to his wife D. Leonor of Lorraine eTávora; Seven letters (and 2 fragments?) for his daughter Alcipe (1785-1786); 22 letters and a ticket for his grandchildren José and Leonor da Câmara. Mostly undated documents (some between 1783 and 1786).
