MANUSCRITOS.- COUNT OF GALVEIAS (4th) MANUSCRITOS.- CONDE DAS GALVEIAS (4º).- Correspondência.- Século XVIII (1724-1725).- 81 documents; 24 cm. - E. André de Mello e Castro (1668-1753), 4th Count of Galveins, governor of the province of Minas Gerais (1732-1735), Viceroy of Brazil (1736-1749), was in charge of several diplomatic missions, including the Ambassador of Portugal in Rome (Holy See). Letters consisting of 81 original letters, addressed to D. João de Almeida Portugal (1663-1733), 2nd Count of Assumar (Gr. de Port. of the Cons º. de Estado de S. Magde.), all of which were sent from Rome, dated from 1 January 1724 to 19 September 1725. On the steering endpaper, the following inscription of the time: Letters of André de Mello de Castro, named Count of Galveas Ambassador in Rome, to the count of Assumar, continued since the Anno of 1724, until 1725. I take 7. Documents very well preserved, assembled in chronological order, in a volume with cardboard lined binding of the time.
