Dasse juntamente noticia de algu[m]as experiencias não só pelo que respeita ao curativo, como tambem pelo que toca ao coriozo. Em Roma aos 3 de Janeiro de 1762.- Século XVIII (1762).- 444, [51] p.; 19 cm.- E. Document without indication of authorship, of the greatest interest to the knowledge of the traditional Brazilian Pharmacopeia, containing, surely, more than a thousand recipes of the whole species and for all evils. The work, organized as intended to be published, consists of a face, a prologue "to the Reader" (2 p.) and another "to the doctor or surgeon" (4 p.), with three warnings. The following are 433 pages of recipes, with successive alphabetic ordinations, indexed for purposes or symptoms. In the end, a copious index that occupies the last 50 pages. Much of the document appears to be by the same hand (at least from P. 1 to 379 and index). In the archives of the company of Jesus, in Rome, there is a similar manuscript (ref ª. Opp. 17), although formally distinguished, described as medical form: Manuscript attributed to the Jesuits and found in an ark of the church of San Francisco de Curitiba (https://www.obrasraras.fiocruz.br/media.details.php?mediaID=279, access in 03/11/18, information provided by Heloísa Meireles Gesteira, researcher of Museum of Astronomy of Rio de Janeiro, to whom we thank). Entire rigid parchment binding of the time. See also, J.P. Sousa Dias-A Farmácia e a expansão portuguesa (séculos XVII e XVIII), in A Universidade e os Descobrimentos (p. 209-227).
