We are very pleased to present to you the catalog of our Auction 153 – for the first time dedicated, on one hand, to ANTIQUES AND WORKS OF ART; and, on the other,

Three sessions – on the 18th, 19th and 20th of November 2013 – being the first part of the second session, on the 19th of November, dedicated to MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART (Lots 451 to 590); and the third session dedicated, as usual, to silver and jewels.

ANTIQUES AND WORKS OF ART: one thousand four hundred lots, covering virtually all areas of antiques, of which highlights the oil on canvas by João Vaz that illustrates the cover (Lot 135); and 500 lots of silver and jewellery, including several flatware services (Lot 1390),

MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART: close to 150 lots, including names as Graça Morais (back-cover, Lot 552), Martins Correia, Ricardo Angélico, Raúl Perez, Cruzeiro Seixas, Pedro Proença, Bernardo Marques, Artur Bual, Jorge Vieira, Augusto Barros, Ernesto Mello e Castro, Gil Teixeira Lopes, António Palolo, among many others.
