Original edition of a compilation of laws not included in the “Manueline Ordinances”. The group of 16 leaves includes the «Repertorio das materias que se conteem nas seis partes das leis extravagantes» (Repertory of matters contained in the six parts of the extravagant laws) followed, at the end of the volume, by a booklet with «Annotações sobre as ordenações dos cinqvo livros, que pelas leis extrauagantes são revogadas ou interpretadas» (Annotations on the ordinances of the five books, which are revoked or interpreted by the extravagant laws) (8 leaves), with its own title page and independent pagination, which is sometimes found together and can be considered an autonomous type of typography (see BN, 404). Complete copy, with some imperfections, namely: water stain (from the tide) in the upper left half of the entire volume; serious defect, with crude restoration, affecting the upper outer corner of the last 11 leaves, to the detriment of some lines of text, reconstructed by hand. 20th-century binding, full natural sheepskin, with blind decoration on the spine.
