  • A large centre table with double stretchers, teak, 17th C. (2nd half) (Lot 136);
  • A cabinet with six drawers simulating nine, with stand, teak, Mughal India, 16th/17th C. (Lot 138);
  • Jesus praying in the Garden of Olives, carved ivory plaque, 17th/18th C. (Lot 146);
  • A coverlet or drape cloth, silk embroidered with silk and silk hue, 17th/18th C. (Lot 158);

Namban Art

  • A Reliquary Cross, gilt copper alloy, decoration en relief with black lacquered background, on one side “Crucified Christ topped by a cartouche with «Titulus Crucis» INRI”; on the other side “Blessed Sacrament surmounted by the Dove of the Holy Spirit with inscription LOUVADO SEIA O SANCTISS[IM]º SACRAME[NT]”, Momoyama period (1573-1615) – dedicted essay by Hugo Miguel Crespo (Lot 140);

CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN

  • Oval basket with pierced flap base, polychrome and gilded decoration with the coat of arms of Vital de Bettencourt de Vasconcelos e Lemos (1751-1847), Jiaqing period (1796-1820) (Lot 89);
  • A large pot, polychrome «Ducai» decoration “Flowers”, handles en relief “Elephant mask with rings”, 19th C. (2nd half), apocryphal mark (Lot 228);
  • Various plates with gilt decoration en grisaille “European Figures”, some according to engravings by Jan Luyken produced for the Nederduytse Bijbel Lutheran Bible published in 1750, Qianlong period (1736-1795) (Lots 75-79; 81-82).
