Main work of the Roman historian Suetonius (69- ca. 141), containing the biographies of 12 Roman emperors from Julius Caesar to Domitian, the only one of whom the author was a contemporary. Second part of the Venetian incunabular edition usually known by the collective title “Scriptores historiae Augustae”. Lightly handled copy, with slight browning, occasional underlining and signs of reading (old); some smaller wormholes.
