Lease agreement signed in the treasury room of the Cathedral of Évora, by which the dean D. Álvaro Gonçalves de Abreu and the Chapter of the See of Évora lease for 10 years to Fernão Fernandes, clerk, resident in Évora, the houses of the Confraternity of Santa Maria da Missa do Sábado, located next to the Cathedral's churchyard, for a fee of 700 pounds in current currency. Document dated Évora, August 31, 1408, validated with the signature of the public notary Vasco Afonso. Note on the back of the parchment: “Estas casas viriam aos Senhores de Góis por compra já que no seu cartório se acham”. Well preserved document, with two fold creases. Provenance: private collection.
