This piece was part of the exhibition "Schach - Figuren und Spiele vom Mittelalter bis zur Gegenwart" in the Bellerive Museum, Zurich, from the 15th of September to the 14th of November 1982, and is reproduced as number 17 in its catalogue. Lot accompanied by an inventory sheet with the information that it was part of another exhibition in Dresden Bank, Frankfurt, in 1988, and is reproduced as number 9 in page 25 of the catalogue.
