A notable copy for being covered in the richest bindings of the time, fully red morocco, with gilt edges, featuring elaborate work, blocking pressed on the covers, with multiple blind and gold ornamental borders; in the centre of the front cover, gold engraved, are the coat of arms of the Empire of Brazil (1822-1889); in the back cover, a large blind floret; the spines are smooth, with blind and gold decorated panels between the sections. The second volume contains several appendices to the report. Some stains on mottled paper endpapers.
