Gaspar Barreiros (ca. 1515-1574), a clergyman and scholar, born in Viseu, was one of the first Portuguese genealogists. His “Chorographia” is today an essential source for local and regional history. In the same volume, with their own faces, but followed by signatures, there are two more texts by the same author and one by D. Garcia de Meneses, Bishop of Évora. Cropped copy, treated, probably washed, but complete and solid. Occasional minor restorations, particularly on the title and ff. 88 and in the last four pages of the last text.
