Carefully handwritten volume, with the following title: "Constituiçoens e leys por que se hão de governar as Religiosas do SS. Sacramento do Louriçal da primeira Regra de Santa Clara da Jurisdição Ordinaria do Illustrissimo Senhor Bispo de Coimbra, adoptadas por Authoridade Ordinaria do Emminentissimo Senhor Cardeal Cunha Arcebispo de Evora para o governo das Recolhidas do Real Conservatorio do SS. Sacramento da Luz na Villa de Montemór o Novo. Anno de 1779". The Convent of the Blessed Sacrament of Our Lady of Luz, from Montemor-o-Novo, was erected in 1760 next to the Church with the same name, built in 1582, which, in turn, gave its name to the fair held in this location since the 16th century, at the beginning of September: Fair of Luz. In 1878, the Convent was abolished, and the building housed the Holy Spirit Hospital, which is still installed there today. Apparently, the constitutions of the nuns of Louriçal were adopted by those of Montemor-o-Novo without any modification. Volume with slight acidity, but very clean, with the first notebook loose. Nineteenth-century binding, entirely made of sheepskin, with blind tooling decoration on the covers, squares and spine; carmine edges.
