Junto com: DO ESTYLLO | E OFFICIAES DA IVSTIÇA | Do Bispado do Porto. | [grande gravura xilográfica com as armas episcopais] | ¶ Impresso em Coimbra: Antonio de Mariz... Anno de 1585.- [2], 30 f.; 26 cm.- E. Third constitutions of the Diocese of Oporto, the first two having been published, respectively, in 1496, by order of D. Diogo de Sousa, and in 1541, by order of Friar D. Baltazar Limpo. Includes, with independent title page and foliation, the appendix Do estyllo e officiaes da Ivstiça of the Bishopric of Oporto, which is missing in some of the known specimens. Piece of the greatest importance for the history of the Diocese of Oporto and the Portuguese typography of the 16th century. The copy has 12 preliminary sheets, unlike the BNP copy which includes 14, but it is complete, as it was published on October 3, 1585. On March 18 of the following year, Friar Macos had both sheets printed: one with five corrections to the constitutions and another with a more extensive errata that have been added to many of the known copies, but not to the present. Light handling and slight foxing; some annotations and underscores from the period; flyleafl and titlle page with several old handwritten ownerships; corner and imperfect upper margin on the last six leaves (rodent signs). Full flexible parchment contemporary worn binding with damage on top of upper cover. Inocêncio, II, p. 106. Anselmo, 886. Samodães, 867. National Library (16th century), 618 and 619. Silva's / Pedro de Azevedo (December 1994), lot no. 59. D. Manuel II does not mention it.
