Letter transcript:

"Paris, 10/30/1969
My dear Lydia, I have not forgotten my promise in spite of my long silence, for which I apologize immensely. In order to preserve a memory of the caricature, I wanted to photograph it, which I did several times, without obtaining the desired result. Now I have achieved a certain success with a new photograph and, together with this, I send you the said caricature that will be a memory for Lydia of times gone by. The postcard was written for Maria Alice in 1905! I sincerely
wish Lydia to be in excellent health. I keep a fond memory of our meetings in Lisbon. Thanks to Lydia I had the pious consolation of seeing our great friend Alexandre again. Apologizing again, I send you a big hug and all the affection.

Your [close] friend,

Lucia. "
