The Royal Yacht "Amelia" (London, 1900) album with photographic records of the Yacht Amélia offered by the builder to D. Fernando de Serpa Pimentel (1851-1928) as his commander YACHT AMÉLIA. (The Royal) / designed by Messrs. COX & KING, Naval Architects.- London: Cox & King, 1900.- 1 álbum [13 f.]: 23 fotografias; 38x45 cm.- E. Album offered by the builders to D. Fernando Serpa Pimentel, at the time the commander of the Yacht Amélia, consisting of a titlepage, with the following inscription (printed): Presented to D. Fernando de Serpa Pimentel, Ajudante de Campo de S.M. El-Rei, Commandante do Yacht Real "Amelia". [followed by handwritten inscription]: With the compliments of the Architects. Here are 12 sheets of thick cardboard on which they were assembled, with strong canvas stubs, 23 large-format photographs (28x37 cm and 23x29 cm) representing five exteriors and 18 interiors of the Amélia Yacht. All photographs have, in the lower right corner, the white stamp: A[rthur]. Debenham - copyright - Cowes & Ryde. Seven cardboard supports with signs of abrasion, without affecting the photographs. Volume covered with entire sheepskin binding, recently made, with the inscription: Royal Yacht "AMELIA"; in the centre of the front cover, gold engraved - Lisbon, November 1901. Volume packed in a recently manufactured case, covered with canvas. Provenance: estate of D. Fernando de Serpa Pimentel.
