Original edition, the rarest and most sought-after, printed rice paper, in Kobe, Japan, where Wenceslau de Morais (1854-1929), charismatic figure of Portuguese Orientalism, was consul. It includes numerous xylographic illustrations, in the text, printed in colour. Specimen slightly handled (small damage to the foot of the spine), but clean, with all the open bifolios in the outer fold (structure the Oriental manner), preserving the original silk ribbon that unites the leaves.
