JULES GRANDJOUAN - 1875-1968 Isadora Duncan: vingt-cinq planches dessinées, gravées & imprimés GRANDJOUAN, Jules (il.).- Isadora Duncan: vingt-cinq planches dessinées, gravées & imprimés.- S.l.: s.n., 1912.- [3] f.: 25 estampas; 50 cm.- E. Jules Grandjouan (1875-1968), a revolutionary designer, illustrator and Unionist, born in Nantes, was an admirer of Isadora Duncan (1877-1927), American dancer and choreographer, modern dance precursor and ballet. The prints, reproduced by a calcographic process that mimics the pastel, are printed on papers of various colours, being a fold-out. Volume slightly disconjuncted, preserving the cellophane separators, with numbering and handwritten identification of all the prints. Entire calf binding, slightly tired and with some water stains (of Tide), presents original pyrographed decoration (dry) in both plans, probably authored by Grandjouan himself.
