The first volume closes a history of the world since its inception until the foundation of Portuguese nationality. The second and third are made up of the history of the various reigns, respectively up to Kings D. João III and Philip III, including the intact portraits of all the monarchs (22 intaglio engravings), including that of Count D. Henrique. The collation of the first two volumes is as follows: volume I - [8], 491, [1] p .; Volume II - [8], 224 (alias 624) p .: 16 portraits. The pagination of the third volume shows a jump from p. 240 to p. 341. The cover pages of the first two volumes are intaglio engraved; That of the third is typographed.
