DAMIÃO DE GÓIS - 1502-1574 Damião de Góis (1502-1574), who by his mother descended from a Flemish family, lived abroad between 1523 and 1545, first in Antwerp, where he was Secretary of the Portuguese Trading Factory in Flanders; would afterwards study at Padua (1534-1538) then lived six years in Leuven where he also studied and taught. Lightly trimmed copy but very clean. Recent preservation binding, intact parchment.
