An Armchair, crystal lined wooden frame, «Diamond tip» decoration, velvet upholstered seats, backs and arms, English, 19th/20th C., small defects in the crystal, manufactured by F. & C. OSLER - BIRMINGHAM the production of furniture for the Eastern market was gusrenteed by several European companies who specialized that. The main manufacturers were F. & C. Osler in Birmingham, England, and Baccarat in France. Other British companies that supplied lighting objects and glass furniture for the Eastern market were Jonas Defries & Sounds of London and the Coalbourne Hill Glass Works near Stourbridge. The production of all these companies is presented in the book here then referred.
