JOÃO CUTILEIRO - 1937-2021 Untitled marble sculpture of different shades restored unsigned Dimensões (altura x comprimento x largura) - 141 x 34 x 18 cm Notes: According to the Sellers, this sculpture:
a) was acquired directly from the Artist, with whom they had a longstanding friendship;
b) it constitutes a prototype, in the sense that it is the only known «Monobífida»; before and afterwards, other pieces of the same typology were created by the Artist but always with two legs, accordingly named «Bífidas». In fact, Cabral Moncada Leilões is not aware of the existence of any other sculptures by this Artist representing female figures with only one leg.
