A covered plate with stand porcelain from the Vista Alegre Factory polychrome and gilt decoration with the coat of arms of d. Pedro Maria da Piedade de Lancastre - 5th marquis of Abrantes (1816-1847) Portuguese hairlines on the body of the covered plate, slight wear to the gilt stand marked number 7 (1852-1869) Dimensões (altura x comprimento x largura) - (prato coberto) 19 x 29 x 21,8 cm; (travessa) 4,8 x 34,5 x 23,5 cm Notes: it is part of a large service composed of 400 pieces, which was the first emblazoned service commissioned from Vista Alegre in 1846, and was featured in an exhibition in Lisbon held by the National Industry Promotion Society in 1848. It is believed to have been commissioned by D. Pedro Maria da Piedade de Lancastre - 5th Marquis of Abrantes (1816-1847).
