Amélia of Portugal commissioned from Leitão & Irmão to offer various individuals who supported a charity event, presided over by the monarch, held at the Belém Hippodrome on April 24, 1892, for the benefit of the families of the victims of the recent disasters. Originally, it contained a photograph signed by the Queen, taken by the Royal House photographer, Augusto Bobone.
