Copperplate print by the German engraver and publisher Tobias Conrad Lotter (1717-1777), depicting, with some fantasy, the city of Lisbon during the earthquake of November 1, 1755. Undated panoramic view, published together (in the lower third) with the representation and map of Lisbon (Lisbona magnificentissima...), by the Augsburg publisher Matthäus Seutter (1678-1757), Lotter's father-in-law. Trimmed proof, with slight browning and minor flaws on the upper edge. Framed.
