A large goblet painted glass probably from Bohemia for the Portuguese market polychrome decoration with the coat of arms of Portugal and the inscription VIVAT IOANNES V 18th C. (1st half) wear on decoration Dimensões (altura x comprimento x largura) - 13,5 cm Notes: We would like to thank Doctor José Pedro Barosa, researcher and author on the subject of the history of glass, for this identification, having published, in particular, "Fabrico do Vidro e Vidreiros em Portugal (1438-1714)" and "Da Alemanha para Portugal: 500 Anos de Continuidade no Vidro". Currently retired from professional activities, he is a collaborator at Vicarte, a research unit (on glass and ceramics) at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
