The copy has the number 28200 on the back of the last endpaper, probably the entry record at the Royal Library; It also features the stamp with the crowned monogram DC, of ​​King D. Carlos I of Portugal and the ex-libris of King D. Manuel II of Portugal. The edition of the best-known book on spirituality from the late Middle Ages was printed in typography and chromolithography, expressly for the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1855.
