A revivalist chalice with paten silver and gilt silver base with coat of arms of D. Diogo de Sousa, Archbishop of Braga, inscription engraved with the name of the Evangelists and dated 1509, paten with inscription "HIC EST ENIM CALIX SANGUINIS MEI NOVI ETER" 19th C. (late) missing an apostle without marks, pursuant to Decreto-Lei nº 120/2017, of 15 September - art. 2, no. 2, subparagraph c) Dimensões (altura x comprimento x largura) - 39 cm; Peso - 2.628 g. Notes: several revivalist chalices are known, produced in the late 19th centurie, the most famous being the chalice commissioned by King D. Luis I of Portugal, from the famous goldsmith Raphael Zacarias da Costa (1816-1895), at the LEITÃO & IRMÃO, to offer to Pope Leo XIII in 1888.
