The only recorded work by this author, of whom little is known, in addition to being a Portuguese Jew and having traveled for many years in Persia (Baghdad, Basra, etc.) and the East (Goa, Ormuz, Malacca, etc.), from where he returned to Portugal, via Venice, in 1605. The first part tells the story of Persia and its kings; the second, the author's itinerary, referring equally to China, Japan, Mexico and Bermuda. Cropped exemplary with browning, sometimes accentuated. Extensive pencil and ink notes on the first flying endpaper. Good contemporary binding, full sheepskin, with a double edge border on the covers and closed panels on the spine, with new endpapers.
