Arvore de geração de Luiz Machado de Miranda Carmona de Gusmão Azevedo da Cunha, da Casa de Brea, termo da Villa de Barcellos, Arcebispado de Braga, cazado com Donna Izabel de Almeyda Pinto Coelho de Vascocellos, da Caza, e Honrra [sic] de Paramos, termo da Villa da Feyra, Bispado Porto. From f. 20r. begins the title of Azevedos, which begins with Lopo Dias de Azevedo, Lord of Couto de Azevedo, sixth Grantee of Vila do Souto. The text includes numerous references to houses and majorats with whom the Machado de Miranda have crossed paths over the centuries, namely, the Majorat of the Carmonas (Barcelos), the Hortas Mannor (Braga), the Biscainhos Mannor (Braga), the Marrancos Mannor (Vila Verde), the Estate of Assento (Sande), the house of Donães and the House of Rua Escura (both in Guimarães), the Estate of Peixotos (Cabeceiras de Basto), etc. An illustrated document with three coats of arms, full page, watercoloured and decorated with complementary figures: Padrão de Armas da Antiga e Solar Caza de Brea (f. 1v.); Padrão das Armas da Caza da Brea pela parte paterna (f. 31r.); Padrão de Armas da Casa de Brea pela parte materna (f. 31r.). Entire sheepskin binding of the first half of the 19th century, with gold tooling on both covers: on the upper, MAGISTRAL BREAL; on the lower (small fault of the support of the leather lining), GUSMAÕ. In the end, four loose contemporary documents, one family tree and three related notes.
