Le tout nécessaire aux Artistes.- A Paris: Chez Crepy, 1781.- 44 f. de gravuras; 35 cm.- E. Vignola (1507-1573) was, along with Serlio and Palladio, one of the great architects of the Renaissance and one of the main responsible for the diffusion of Italian style and taste in Europe. Late edition, entirely copperplate printed, consisting of an architectural frontispiece allegorical in Rocaille style and 43 engraved leaves, numbered from 2 to 44, of which 34 include a large engraved cartouche, with small explanatory text. The title page presents the following subscription: Poulleau Inv. et Sulp. The remaining prints have subscriptions of the same and other engravers and artists (Le Canu, Le Roux, Daumont, Blondel, etc.). Occasional and slight water stains (tide), but in general, a clean and good-margins copy. Full sheepskin binding of the time, a little tired, conserving the original endpapers.
