Original edition, the rarest and most sought-after, printed on rice paper, in Kobe, Japan, where Wenceslau de Morais (1854-1929), charismatic figure of Portuguese Orientalism, was consul. It includes numerous xylographic illustrations, on the text, printed in colour. Clean specimen, with all the bifolios by opening on the outer fold (structure to the Oriental manner), preserving the original silk ribbon that unites the notebooks.
